While firms would usually try to lessen prices of a few top selling MP3s to push sales, Apple made a full swing by increasing prices for those. And worse, Amazon and Wal-Mart consider the step worth following as they push the prices up for top selling tracks. Reports state that a few songs at Amazon will now be priced at $1.29 pushing past 99 cents while those at Wal-Mart go up from 94 cents to $1.24. Not a good move, seriously first they increasing prices for what sells most and worse at the time of recession. We agree you need to make a few bucks too, but making such a huge leap, it’s a bit too harsh on music lover who have always paid to listen to quality music.
