Alltop is launching version 3.0 of its service, making it easier for users to personalize their user experience with a customizable RSS feeder. One wonders how personalized is this going to be, given the previous versions that were far from being personalized. The new feature, named MyAlltop lets users create a custom page extended with their username. There are already a countless services like iGoogle, Netvibes, etc that offer more to users compared to MyAlltop, where you can only pull feeds from Alltop. No custom widgets and a very poor search functionality. I am not sure how many people does it attract, but in order to keep those who are loyal to it, they need to improve their search first, at least.
