Holiday season is very near; you have another reason to send gifts and Facebook is currently the leader. Why not? I mean you have got almost all the online population using the social network. AlbinoPhant is another Facebook application that brings your office parties to the social network. It isn’t very difficult to use, I mean aren’t you all experts already playing Farmville and the likes?

Participants participate in the game and play for gifts and upon ending a game each winner receives a gift in their inbox. What it does is set price points for each game and the application automatically finds items that can be sent as gifts on Amazon. For example if you set a price at $10, the app finds items on Amazon priced less than $10 and once you have sent your invitations, you are at liberty to select the gifts that are  listed. And the underlying concept is stealing gifts from others.

Stealing gifts, now that obviously means that all the fun lies in you having more users participate to enjoy the game. You have the opportunity to steal gifts as recipients check what they have been gifted. Sounds interesting enough but there is an issue: that you need to pay in order to get the taste of it which might actually have quite a lot of users avoid using it at all. The idea is great and very fun, plus it’s coming out at the perfect time, but the paid option will definitely cause issues in it rocketing up. That might change if it gets a positive feedback and given it has the right ingredient for all those people in office and your distant friends looking for another reason to have a good time on Facebook, this app is quite an option to enjoy these holidays, at least.
