When hosting, you can link in your facebook and LinkedIn profiles. Furthermore you can put in other information like bedtime, computer, cleanliness etc.
The idea is good but it doesn’t seem applicable because of certain reasons. The service is limited to San Francisco. You cannot search by state, verify user (one can have fake id). Payment has to be in advance through Amazon Payments (when you are not certain about a person, will you ever make a transaction?). International users are not supported by Amazon payments (that may give them a chance to see whether its fake or not 
).
To make this service better they have to improve their search, increase user interaction with the system and specifically verify the user’s information otherwise it would continue to be a flop (as it appears from its current number of users).
