One of the major criticism Apple’s iPhone received was that a user was not able to remove the battery from the device on his/her own. Now according to 9to5Mac the new 17 inch MacBook Pro, which is expected to be launched tomorrow at Apple’s last Macworld Expo, also won’t have the removable battery option.
The new MacBook Pro is also said to be built through the unibody process. Also the battery life of the new device will be much longer than the other models, probably 50% more. If Apple can’t fix it in the iPhone then at least they should have done it in the new MacBook because this will affect a user one way or the other. All we can do right now is to wait and see if it really is the case.
