Adobe has finally announced its intention to make some job cuts. The company is laying off 600 full-time employees which is around 8% of the overall workforce. The reason for this is the poor sales of Creative Suite 4. According to the company its expected Q4 revenue will be between $912 million to $915 million.
According to Adobe’s president and CEO, Shantanu Narayen:
The global economic crisis significantly impacted our revenue during the fourth quarter.
We have taken action to reduce our operating costs and fine-tune the focus of our resources on key strategic priorities.
