Apple must be feeling good with Adobe System’s Sr. Director of Engineering, Paul Betlem’s announcement of the Flash Player for iPhone. The announcement was made at the Flash on the Beach conference in Brighton.
The idea had been cooking for quite sometime, but the latest say by the director has confirmed the idea and the company only waiting for Apple to approve the software. Meaning that its there in the line to be released.
Well it may not be a great it of information, but the coming of Flash to the iPhone may very well improve the browsing experience with its Safari browser. This would let users access more sites across the web (given the the large of missing Adobe plugin notifications one receives). Given Apple’s desires to keep its apps open, unlike Microsoft’s Silverlight platform or the conventional Flash applications.
There is not much positive encouragement from Apple thus far. Let’s just wait and see for the Flash to actually come to the App Store, will it have costs attached to it?
