I can bet there is a very large percentage of Facebook users that isn’t actually aware of the vanity URLs that Facebook began giving away from 13 June. And yet close to 6 million people have already grabbed the opportunity to get their hands at a more memorable URL for their profiles. Ii had given up the idea of ever having such a URL if Facebook demanded even a dime, but was more than pleased when I heard it was coming for free. So if you are one of those who are still going along with that old profile URL, go grab your unique profile name before someone else takes it.

We thought everybody will be participating in Facebook username registration actively, but that didn’t happened as planned by Facebook.
