42% of iPhone requests on AdMob came through Wi-Fi

A recent report by AdMob, the largest mobile advertising marketplace, shows that 42% of all the requests from iPhones on AdMob’s partners through out the world came from Wi-Fi and not from the mobile operators networks. Android phone from T-Mobile got 10% of all the requests through Wi-Fi.

In the U.S., 8% of the total requests were on Wi-Fi networks, which is 3% more from August. Similarly 8% of the total requests in the U.K. were through the Wi-Fi networks, increasing from 4% in August.

Apple has topped the list of Wi-Fi manufacturers in the U.S. followed by Sony and HTC. You can check out the report here.
