3dvia is a platform for fully interactive 3D experiences built by users and partner community of Dassault Systèmes.
It allows you to submit your 3D work which can be a game, project, etc. Best work will be displayed on the showcase of the beta version.To view the content you need to have a 3D Life Player plug-in.
There are certain softwares available for users in order to help them in creating 3D stuff. 3dvia Shape is a free 3D modelling application which let users to create 3D models and post them directly to 3dvia.com. 3dvia MP provides a ground for high class 3D game production on different platforms like PC, XBox (360), PlayStation 3, etc. 3dvia Printscreen provides you a tool through which you can create and save 3D scenes from any 3D application.
There is a 3dvia Labs section which gives you a glimpse of upcoming ideas. You can give feedback/suggestion to help improve their site. It also allows you to express your work on Facebook through 3Dcollage.
To use these applications you have to register. By registering you will be able to share, upload, search, create, host, access 3D models, etc.
Although 3dvia is in beta stage, it is portraying an innovative idea and excelling in it. It would be interesting to see what they put up in their final version.
