While Yahoo and LinkedIn maybe busy laying off staff or seeing off their CEOs, but 23andMe has recently hired two key people from each. The startup that decodes genetic information of consumers got services of Sarah Imbach, ex VP of Revenue and Customer Operations of LinkedIn and former Yahoo User Experience VP, Larry Tesler as its CEO. The startup has been getting a lot of attention for its service that determines how prone a customer is to cancer and various other diseases by taking their saliva. But given its pricing for tests, ($399) is definitely too much to pay for most in the crowd.
