Offerpal Media after providing monetization platform for social apps has itself grabbed in $15 million in Series B. The round was led by D.E. Shaw Ventures with returning backers, InterWest Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners joining in. Anu Shukla, founder and CEO of Offerpal Media stated in a release:

We had earlier reported that Fujitsu had put down rumors associated to selling its Hard Disk division to Western Digital. It had rejected so only to have it sold to Toshiba as the electronics good manufacturer has bought it. The price remains undisclosed s far and reports are that the deal will be completed by June this year. As per the deal, Fujitsu would transfer the following to Toshiba:

The same happened today when Twitter’s HR department sent a notice of rejection to those who had applied for the position of Project Manager. Apparently the micromessaging service ended up sending the notice to all candidates making the list visible to all of the 185 people who had applied for it.
