zvents Event based search engine Zvents raises $24 millionZvents, an event based search engine has raised an amount of $24 million in a round of funding. The round was participated by investors including Nokia Growth Partners, AT&T and NAVTEQ along with previous investors including VantagePoint Venture Partners and Red Rock Ventures.

The San Mateo, California based local search and advertising network has several online and mobile partners which features listing of events in order to promote local business. The company is focusing on mobiles and expects a large part of its future businesses on it.
