infovell logo Infovell lets you search the Deep Web stylePlaced in Menlo Park California, Infovell serves your search needs when you need to delve deep into a subject. Infovell is a research engine that explores the unindexed links from the Web. Some of the most valuable links or rather, information lies beyond the search results returned from traditional (index-based search) engines, as only 0.2% of the web is indexed.

Infovell operates through scouring open-access repositories of information like PubMed Central, and the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office Claims. It can also provide results from scholarly journals like Oxford University Press, etc. The search engine provides you content in the areas of Life Sciences, Medicines, Patents, Industry, News, whereas in addition it also delivers breaking news alerts in your email, PDA or any other device. Although Infovell can prove to be a break-through, and serve as competition for the top search engines, the service is not available without a price tag, putting the power of information into the hands of those who can afford it. Here’s a video of the team describes how the search engine can be useful:

xippeelogo thumb Refine your Search Results with Xippee Searching for relevant information is really hard sometimes as the search engine gives you an array of ambiguous search results for a particular query. So, you  have to eliminate or add certain keywords in your query to have pertinent results. Xippee solves the problem of inserting  different keywords to acquire accurate results.

Xippee is a plug-in that lets you filter your query by selecting the words from the search result page. With this deftly tool you can select any word or phrase and press plus/minus buttons to include/eliminate the term from your search query. He had earlier hinted at calling off from duty in a decade or so but the power he has seated in Microsoft as its CEO has definitely got the old man loose senses. In a statement he gave in Seattle, Ballmer told that he will retire from Microsoft the day its shares exceed those of Google. Now when is this going to happen?
