the mojaveexperiment results Microsoft’s “Mojave Experiment” now public; Its ‘Windows Vista’ actually

Microsoft has revealed its ‘Mojave Experiment’ results. Last week Microsoft showed the demo of the experiment to those users who complained about Windows Vista. After the demo was show, they were told that its ‘Windows Vista’ and 90% of the users responded positively by liking it. Now the results of the experiment are made public by the Microsoft.

logo header 02 MyYearbook raises $13 million and growing fast MyYearbook, a high school social network has come ringing with an announcement of fetching $13 million series B funding round that was led by Norwest Venture Partners along with existing investors namely US Ventures Partners and First Round Capital. The total sum is predicted to reach $18.6 million as Sergio Monsalve joins the investors (As reported by Eric Eldon).

The company has made huge leaps in growth despite the bigger horses already well set in the business. According to analysis, MyYearbook currently holds about 1.54% of the total US social network market. Though way behind MySpace (71.92%) and Facebook (16.91%), MyYearbook stills boasts of being the third largest social network in the US and it shows a lot of promise already.

You can still access all the stuff  but this time its a bit easier. You can search a place with just a single search box. Prior to this release, Google Maps released their new feature ‘Walking Directions’.

The orange tabs which used to appear earlier, have now been removed, and more blue colour has been added in the interface.

The Scrabulousers might not have been hurt much when Scrabulous was taken away as they thought of having Scrabble to take its place but all they found was that the new one didn’t work.

appleapplications1 iPhone Apps reaches the ‘1000 mark’

Since the release of iPhone, it has gained huge popularity which is evident from the increase in number of its apps. 20 to 40 new apps are coming out on daily basis. The product contained 500 applications when it was released, but now it has crossed the milestone of 1000.

977 apps were available till Sunday night, among which 25% were games. Games are proving to be a popular iPhone app as they are leading the paid app board carrying 53 of the top 100 places. Expensive apps have also started to  make their way in the App Store. Two MyAccountsToGo apps are running for $449.99, and another iChart EMR is charging $139.99, but you don’t have to worry about it because it is meant for certain people i.e. professionals, who can rely on these apps.
