StoredIQ, a company that offers enterprise solutions for unstructured information which can be found in files and emails, has concluded the second round of funding. The company has raised $13.1 million in the B Series of funding.
The company manages the amorphous information by finding it through relevant content, then taking suitable actions against it and in the end audit it. All of this is done constantly and automatically. The unique classification module of the company not only provides pre-built classification modules but also add your own features.
StoreIQ’s discovery functionality gives an accurate and much bigger picture of an enterprise’s information by acquiring less storage rather than a full index based management approach. Other than providing innovative technology, the company contains a considerable proficiency in understanding business and IT challenges in the information management of certain business functions.
The partners of the Texas based company includes IBM, Hitachi, NetApp, etc. The investors who participated in the round are Techxas Ventures and S3 Ventures.
