Online storage becoming the need of the day and literally a bulk of sites available to offer that (SmugVault, Flickr); PicPanda comes offering you the same with a it of tune up to attract the crowd (toolbar, radio).

PicPanda lets you upload multiple images at once, but they should not increase the limit of 5MB at a time, the files are then loaded in the default gallery and also shows your image URL, link (shown in the image below) so that you can post them anywhere over your blog, site, forums etc and let others view your images at PicPanda.

Once done with the upload, you can go to your gallery and create your own albums where you can place your images in, according to categories or archive them according to dates.

However the interesting feature is the downloadable Toolbar with which you can easily access your PicPanda Upload/My Gallery page. Plus it also displays your local weather and an added Radio feature that lets you listen to your favorite channel. This toolbar is customizable as you can add more shortcuts that you generally use (like Word, Messenger, etc).

Then there is a search box integrated into it as well, it is here I found it a bit too unnecessary with users already using up added Yahoo search box etc, plus I couldn’t find an option to remove it, like they have the option for the Weather, Radio and other add-ons to the toolbar.

The service it offers isn’t unique in any way just that a touch up of the Toolbar with added features makes it do something different (or should I say amalgamate various things into it). A neat website can do something about the Panda that looks so cutely dead (no offence).
