Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference is about to start today in San Francisco, California. Announcement of 3G iPhone along with the launch of the first 3rd-party native applications for the iPhone platform is expected in the five day conference (9-13 June, 2008). It is indeed going to be a massive event as it is sold out for the first time ever. Steve Jobs’ keynote address will probably be the centre of attention.
According to their official site:
The groundbreaking innovations of Mac OS X Leopard and iPhone OS offer two revolutionary development platforms for developers and IT professionals. The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is the only place you can receive technical information on these sophisticated platforms from the engineers who created them. Bring your code to the labs and work one-to-one with Apple engineers, applying development methods and best-practices you gain from sessions to enhance your application.
A lot of blogs will be coming to the arena to cover the mega event. You can not only follow the latest development on VentureBeat but also see it live on VentureBeat Livestream room on FriendFeed (that way you’re not going to miss Steve Jobs’ famous “Just One More Thing…).
