RecipeGnome allows its users to gain access of hundreds of food recipes. Everyone knows the importance of food in our daily life and if you really love experimenting different food tastes than RecipeGnome is the right place.
The online community for recipes allows you to submit your favourite recipes and the best out of them will be displayed on the site’s main page. This wont happen by having users taste your recipe, but by gaining more votes (lets see how delicious your idea is), you can also comment on the recipes put up by other users (read cooks to be).
Searches can be narrowed with categories, tags and users. The site doesn’t offer any extra features save for the regular searching mode.. It can improve its functionality by adding more features like starting a forum that allows users to chat and exchange views and suggestions with peoples having common taste. Food pictures can be added (at least they can ‘see’ forget about tasting).
So, in order to compete with hundreds of sites on Internet, RecipeGnome has to work hard. Foodari is another site serving the same concept along with some remarkable features (that are missing in RecipeGnome).
