imfeedslogo thumb IM Feeds: An Instant Messaging RSS reader If you’re sick of getting updates by manually refreshing websites, then you should give IM Feed a chance. It is actually a bot that interacts with specific commands adequately (atleast there is a bot which is used positively). The robot supports all the prominent Instant Messaging networks which include AIM, Google Talk, MSN and Yahoo. Another good thing is that there aren’t any pre-requisites for this service.

It is actually a RSS feed which is based on IM which means that the service allows you to receive RSS updates through IM (cool, isn’t it?). The service is somewhat like Anothr. The feeds can be managed either by sending an IM to the bot or by sending a message using the site. The merit of using such a site is that it allows you to get the latest update in a real time instead of refreshing the page manually which takes time and utilise resources.imfeedsgtalk thumb IM Feeds: An Instant Messaging RSS reader

One such place is BlingEasy; a site that lets you put creativity to test by using the very many animations and effects to them.

You don’t have to bludgeon yourself with time consuming downloads, especially when all you have to do is pass time and go ‘wow’ over your masterpiece. Added to that, you can also convert your stiff, very traditional photographs to something more interesting.

image thumb50 Microsoft to Users: "If you want XP, buy Vista"

The title might seem absurd or down right stupid to you, but it is true nevertheless. A couple of weeks back we reported that June 30th, 2008 would be the last day when Microsoft will ever sell Windows XP. Back than we didn’t knew that Microsoft will come up with such a lousy technique to sell Windows Vista or may I say sell Windows XP again.

Microsoft will not be selling Windows XP from today onwards and any one who wants to get hold of this Operating System would have to buy Windows Vista and than "legally downgrade" to Windows XP. This is the same technique that retailers use to get rid of their back dated inventory or items that couldn’t be sold out normally i.e. put them on sale or bundle them with a hot item.

image thumb47 LinkedIn launches a Research Network and an Advertising Network all too quietly LinkedIn has quietly launched a dynamic CPM Text Advertising platform called LinkedIn DirectAds. The unique thing about the launch is this that they have not announced it altogether but robbwebb2k managed to get a scoop on this info.

Advertisers will now be able to dynamically target ads by age, gender, geography, educational institution, industry, and seniority on LinkedIn. The minimum amount that enables you to start serving your ads is $25, however the minimum number of impressions depend upon the targeted audience, with some demographics fetching more than others. The rate also varies with the options you add or remove from your targeting options, thus the more targeted the ad the more you will have to pay. Another compulsion for the advertisers is this that they should have a profile on LinkedIn and their ad will include a link to their profile to have maximum transparency.
