At times one just feels driven mad with the endless amount of feeds flowing over and as a result overlooking something that might be very important. Matoumba is an easy and free Web application that allows you to keep track of the information that means the most to you.
All it does is check out the votes you give to stories (whether you subscribe to feeds or not), keeping a record of the preferred feeds; so the next time you return Matoumba would organize the information that interests you the most.
The difference here is that various feed readers provide you with information that is voted highest by other users. Matoumba prefers “your” choice rather than that of others. Apart from this you can see the news that your peers have voted as interesting irrespective of the number of votes attached to the information.
All the information in every language, I failed to find the language filter that could help me block information in languages I don’t understand as I have to go through an entire list every time until Matoumba learns my preferences :s.
