RockYou, a widget maker to help you build slideshows has raised $1million round of funding to level out some issues. Concerned?

Matt Marshall at VentureBeat thinks that the present action is a measure to keep things flowing smoothly while they try to sort some valuation concerns. The company had desires to raise up to $70 million on valuation of $400 million but changes in the market have caused a swing in tides (and numbers not to forget).

Ambitious valuation that last too long and a failure to raise the round, RockYou’s inability might sound discouraging but it doesn’t flood out anything (it might just kick some senses).
