Technorati, the blog search engine, expanded its third round of financing to include some more investors and a raise a few more bucks. The company raised $7.6 million in third round of financing last June and have now expanded it to $11.52 million. DG Incubation, the operator of Technorati Japan, is listed as a new share holder. Previous investors in the company include Draper Fisher Jurvetson, August Capital and Mobius Venture Captial.
Technorati is facing increasing pressure from search services like Google Blog Search and Sphere and Blogging social networks like MyBlogLog. They have recently acquired PersonalBee and are also on the outlook for a new CEO to take the company to an IPO or an acquisition.
