BlogRovr has added a new feature, “TwitterThis” which enables users who have installed the BlogRovr Firefox plugin to easily post the page they are on to Twitter.

So the next time you are surfing the web and come across some useful article or blog post that you want to twit about, you don’t need to open up your twitter profile page, copy the url shorten it by going to TinyURL and then Twit about it. All you would have to do is to click on the BlogRovr drop down menu, select the Twitter This button and say what you want. Thats all there is to it. I however want the Twitter This button to be in front so that I dont even have to click on the drop down menu. One other thing missing is that I can not twit about something random, because Twitter This will always post the current page you are on to Twitter. So for Twits like “I hate President Bush” you still have to go to Twitter or else it will be bundled with the Apple iPhone article page you might be reading.
Twit This

In case you don’t already know about BlogRovr, its a firefox plugin that allows you to subscribe to your favorite blogs and then surf the web. Whenever you will go to a site like PBWiki for example, it will show you all the posts about PBWiki from the blogs you have added to it. This is really handy for me because whenever I have to write a review about a service, I just go to its site and immediately get access to all the posts about PBWiki from Techcrunch, Webware, ReadWriteWeb and other blogs that I have added to my list. This provides me with at a glance information about when the service first launched or how much funding it has raised and so on without wasting time searching on Google. Our previous coverage of BlogRovr is here.
