iTalki is a social network built around language exchange. The site´s main aim is to foster language learning and help people:
- Find language partners (language exchange, study buddies, teachers)
- Communicate with them (using skype, msn, yahoo, talkbox etc)
- Find language resources (podcasts, websites, videos, dictionaries, books etc)
- And Participate in language forums.
Language exchange happens when two people take turns speaking the other person´s native language, ultimately learning each other´s language. In the language based communities you could ask question´s about spelling, pronunciations etc of a specific language and build your skills and vocabulary.
iTalki is based in Shanghai, China.

It’s really a good website for language learning. I like it.
Pretty cool idea. Somes guys in SHanghai made it? No wonder why so many CHinese people on it. I figure if you want to learn Chinese, it’s really the place to go.
Very cool. I see that they’ve added some other features besides the whole language exchange feature. The RSS links are pretty cool.
