1UP.com along with sites that are associated to it will be acquired by UGO Entertainment. IUP is dedicated to pulling in the gaming audience with its sites like GameVideos, MyCHeats, etc and its acquisition had been planned for quite some time before the news was made official. The acquisition will take place with UGO purchasing assets from 1UP, however it’s not just good that’s coming 1Ups way, there will be layoffs as it will have to shut down its services like 1UP FM, etc.
