SpringSource, a leading provider of open Java infrastructure software has raised $15 million in its second round led by Accel Partners along with Benchmark Capital who were also the first round investors.
SpringSource’s releases include the Java application server named; SpringSource Enterprise that is being charged for certified versions of the open source framework and technical support as well as a Java Application server named, SpringSource Application Platform.
The more recent SpringSource Application Platform is highly flexible and powerful Java application server that gives a very simple alternate to legacy application servers, remodelling the way Java applications are run.
