Not much can go wrong with the world, when a website provides you more storage space than you might have on your home computers and notebooks! Oosah is offering 1 terabyte ( 1024 GB ) of storage space for your images and video files. It supports a wide range of formats that can be uploaded and stored, so you’ll never have to rely on any other service for your cloud storage. And it’s not just the space that will attract you, the interface is awesome too.
While Oosah lets you stream media to your iPhone, it does a great job at acting as a back up solution for your media needs. It also integrates with your Youtube, Facebook, Picasa and Flickr accounts allowing you to seamlessly browse the media from those websites as if you’re browsing using Windows Explorer. The Oosah explorer is totally built in Flash and the uploading tool is great as well. This interface is what MySites should be looking for design inspiration, it’s that good.
Uploading files is as easy as cake, and browsing through them is a treat. There are also slideshow options for your images as well as full screen browsing. The Oosah Media Playlist is another great feature for sharing your media, although it lacks a full screen viewing option so far. The files can be shared using embedding
options, or through email, AIM and social websites. RSS feeds are also available to provide Podcast features, making it a great platform if you’re into Podcasting.
These features alone make it a great service, and I have to say I’m greatly impressed. It’s all free, no ads either. Although it makes one wonder, how they’ll keep on providing 1 TB space per user free of charge.
Whether you’ve got an iPhone or not, if you want to put your media on the cloud, Oosah is the right way to go. There is also a nifty screenshot tool that lets you hit Print Screen and directly upload the images to Oosah. A great tool for gamers.
There certainly is no reason to not use Oosah. This is a dream come true service and you would regret missing this one.
